Elizabeth "Betty" Gray Sweeney, 96 of Venice, and formerly of Englewood, passed away Feb. 25.
Sweeney was born, Oct. 28, 1914, in Rochester, Pa.
She is survived by two daughters, Patricia (David) Hubbard of Englewood and Cheboygan, Mich., and Donna (Jim) Rowland of Alma, Mich.
She was the dearest grandmother to Scott, Janna, Leeanne, Todd and Jeff and special great grandmother of Brianna, Blake, Sydney and Jeffrey. She was preceded in death by her husband, David.
She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church of Venice.
A celebration of Life service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, March 18 at Trinity Presbyterian Church in South Venice.
