Word on the Island: How are you going “Boca Green” in honor of the Bike Path Parade theme?

Nancy Lyons, Woman's Club, Boca Grande: “From the first year I ever came to Boca Grande years ago, I wanted to be a part of the parade. And now I'm queen of the parade, which is the Woman's Club thank you to the community.”



Alexandria Rick, fifth-grader, Orlando: “I'm Mother Earth because my sister didn't want to be. I want to tell people to reduce, reuse and recycle.”



Anna Crowley, 5-year-old parade princess, Concord, Mass.: “It's fun.”



Leigh Huml, orthopedic practice manager, Boston: “I'm just here to visit with in-laws. It's a lot of fun.”



Britt Durkin, mother, Chicago: “We do this parade every year. It's a great time.”
