Mary Therese Murphy, 62, of Rotonda West, died June 30 in Venice.
She was born Oct. 17, 1948, in Chicago and came to this area four years ago.
A graduate of Clark University in Dubuque, Iowa, she went on to a career in sales and marketing for an appliance company.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Grove City, the Ladies Auxiliary of Knights of Columbus Council No. 7672 as treasurer. During the Christmas holidays she played Aunt Holly for 25 years for church groups and schools.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; mother, Therese Berkowicz; and her brother, Robert Berkowicz. She was predeceased by her brother, Norbert Berkowicz.
Visitation was held Tuesday, at Lemon Bay Funeral Home in Englewood. Funeral Mass waqs held Wednesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Grove City.
