He and his wife, Helen, retired to Englewood in 1985. A lifelong fisherman, Manning loved the waterways of Lemon Bay.
A talented painter and piano player, he also enjoyed sharing his art and music with friends and family.
Above all, Manning had a talent for living. He was grateful for every day and made everyone in his life feel special.
He is survived by his son, Craig Manning, his daughter, Meredith Manning, daughter-in-law, Joan Terry, and grandson, Ian Manning.
