Born Nov. 6, 1926, in Chester, Pa., she came to Englewood 15 years ago.
A retired teacher, avid hiker and member of the Appalachian Travelers, she enjoyed RVing and went to every state except Hawaii.
She was a strong supporter for all animals and the welfare of the American Indian.
She leaves no family, but will be missed by many friends.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lemon Bay Funeral Home in Englewood.
