South Beach Bar & Grille beckons Boca Grande Kids

With nine days left before the third annual Boca Grande Kids Reunion the RSVP list has topped 130 and is inching into clinching the title of largest gathering.

“We know there are probably going to be more people in attendance this year because people don't always RSVP,” said organizer Jackie Fogarty.

Fogarty said the group will have another outlet for fun after the regularly scheduled reunion from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. July 30 at Miller's Dockside. The party will continue to music from the Boca Band at South Beach Bar & Grille beginning at 10 p.m.

“We can carry on down there,” Fogarty said.

The second Boca Grande Kid's Reunion drew 160 people into P.J.'s SeaGrille a year ago, which doubled the 80 in attendance at the first Boca Grande Kids reunion at South Beach Bar & Grille in 2009.

Invitations were sent out on the Boca Grande Reunion Fan Page, with coverage in the Gasparilla Gazette and on Facebook for the Boca Grande Kid's Reunion 3.0.
