Virginia Elaine (Mangan) Seymour, 85 of Englewood, left us and joined the Lord Aug. 6.
Born April 29, 1926, in f Long Island, N.Y., she was a 1948 graduate of Hofstra University and a 1950 graduate of New Paltz State University where she received a master's degree in education.
She left teaching in 1953 to raise a family. Virginia was the loving daughter of Richard and Louise Mangan of Long Island, and the devoted wife of Howard G. Seymour from 1983 until his death in 2003.
She is survived by four children: Todd Bejsovec of Pickerington, Ohio, Glenn Bejsovec of Shingle Springs, Calif., Patricia Backman of Stockholm, N.J., and Brook Bejsovec of Englewood; step-children, Don (Wendy) Seymour of Cape Cod, Mass., and Diane Petrocino of Key Largo, six grandchildren; and six step-grandchildren.
Virginia will also be missed by her nephews, grand nephews and nieces, her many friends in New York and Florida, and her lifelong friends, Gloria Hogan of Menifee, Calif., and Hazel Petersen of Mill Neck, N.Y.
Mrs. Seymour could best be described as a supportive, unwavering caregiver whose first priority in life was always her family.
