Gasparilla Marina & Waterside Grill would like to thank Born To Ride TV & Magazine, volunteers from Kids Needs of Englewood, vendors, marina customers, employees and the community for their generosity and hard work during the BTR Motorcycle Show and BBQ.
Together we were able to raise $2,000 for Kids Needs of Englewood (kidsneedsenglewood.com.)
The BTR 10 Class Bike Show and BBQ Sept. 24 raised money for "Kids Needs," a nonprofit group helping Englewood children.
Attendees also enjoyed an all you can eat barbecue catered by Waterside Grill, a silent auction, raffles, corn hole games, BTR Bike Show and a tattoo contest. Music was provided by 4-Play of Englewood. Born To Ride was onsite during the Bike Show filming and doing a photo shoot for its October magazine and an upcoming show.
A special thanks to the volunteers from Kids Needs and to the following vendors who provided donation items for the raffle or silent auction: Four Winds Marina, AJ's Collectables, Harley Davidson, John's Photography, Creative Travel, Gail's Knives, Lou's Bonsai, Lori's Scentsy Candle, Lina of Mary Kay, Veronica's Jewelry, Ramblers Rest Campground, Comcast, Clothing By The Pound, Seatow, Project Graduation, Ingman Marine, Crafty Treasures and Barbara's Rocks, Fossils & Jewelry.
The BTR Bike Show was also the kickoff for the Third Thursday of the month Bike Nights at Waterside Grill being emceed beginning Oct. 20 by BTR featuring food and drink specials as well as a People's Choice Award. For more information contact Gasparilla Marina and Waterside Grill.
