Nancy Lingeman, Jacques and Blanche Boudreau will hold a benefit for the Wildlife Center of Venice from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Loose Caboose Restaurant in Boca Grande.
We know you are always ready to help in any way possible, so please contribute an item for the silent auction or a platter of food would be most helpful.
A wine grab is planned and we would appreciate a donation of a bottle of wine worth at least $10.
We feel it is important to support the wildlife center because 97 percent of wildlife rescued on Gasparilla Island goes there for medical treatment and rehab before they can be released back in to the wild.
These are challenging times and the center needs your help so they may continue their outstanding work.
