The Tom Adams Bridge leading to Beach Road in Englewood will be closed Monday while repairs are made by Charlotte County.
The bridge was stuck for more than five hours in the up position Thursday after freezing at around 9 a.m. The bridge carries 6,000 cars per day and is Boca Grande's direct link to Englewood beaches.
It is anticipated repairs will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the bridge will be re-opened no later than 2 p.m.
