Susan Shaffer of Boca Grande took third place in the Englewood Art Center juried exhibit for her "East Ave Reflections" containing early images of the Boca Grande location now known as "Caffe Boca."
The exhibit theme is "Memory Lane."
Shaffer, a potter and papermaker, used papers and mixed media on the piece, which contains early images of the Boca Grande location.

Shaffer, a founding member of the Boca Grande Art Alliance and a year-round island resident, won her sixth regional award this year.
The show at Englewood Art Center, 350 So. McCall Road in Englewood, will run through Nov. 18.
