Charlotte County Sheriff's detectives are investigating the theft of eight pool pumps from two resorts and one condominium in the Englewood area reported Monday afternoon.
Weston Resort, 985 Gulf Blvd. and El Galeon Gulf Condo Resort, 1770 Gulf Blvd. on Manasota Key, and The Waterside Condominiums at 101 Nature's Way, Rotonda West, reported the thefts totaling $3,150.
Darrell's Pool Service, 155 Dearborn St., Englewood (Sarasota County) services all three accounts. A company rep reported the thefts at Weston Resort and El Galeon Gulf Condo Resort; a rental realty company representative notified Waterside Condominiums of its theft.
