To the editor:
I read with great interest Gasparilla Gazette Editor Terry O'Connor's article about Boca Grande's busiest day - Nov. 17 ("Boca Grande's busiest day features five competing events," Nov. 10 Gasparilla Gazette).
Just to reinforce how busy that day really is, I want to point out two seminars on Geopolitics Today were held the same day in the Woman's Club room by the Lifelong Learning program: the morning seminar, "The War on Terror, Afghanistan and Iraq," and an afternoon seminar, "Arab Spring." They were omitted from the story.
The Gasparilla Gazette has always been a supporter of our Lifelong Learning program and we really appreciate that support.
It looks like the upcoming season is going to continue to be very busy. Keep up your good work and good luck trying to keep up with everything.
