Wayne V. Heinbuch, 79, of Englewood, died Nov. 15 at the Douglas Jacobson State Veterans Nursing Home in Port Charlotte.
Born Nov. 25, 1931, in Berwyn Heights, Md., to Kenneth and Ruth (Buckingham) Heinbuch, he moved to the Englewood area near Boca Grande in 1986 from Maryland after retiring from C & P Telephone, now Verizon Wireless, where he was in installation repair.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia, of Englewood; sons, Richard of Frederick, Md., and Thomas of Englewood; sisters, Gladys Womersley of Englewood, and Joyce Brors of Portland; and four grandchildren, Joshua, Ricky and Bobby Heinbuch and Amanda Conard.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25, at Lemon Bay Funeral Home in Englewood.
