At 10:30 p.m. Kasten allegedly sold Oxycodone pills to an undercover narcotics detective in McDonald's parking lot, 1250 S. McCall Road, Englewood.

Detectives say Kasten is a suspect in several recent boat motor thefts.

CI detectives met with Kasten at the Charlotte County Jail Wednesday to discuss the stolen boat motor, but he invoked his Miranda rights and only stated he was going to prison anyway so why should he snitch on himself.

Kasten, a convicted felon with 24 records, at this time is charged with dealing in stolen property and grand theft, sale and delivery of Oxycodone, possession of Oxycodone, and six counts violation of probation.

He is being held on $70,000 bond.
