The Boca Grande Woman's Club Scholarship Committee will begin to review applications from local seniors in early March.
These seniors are either residents of the island or have a parent who has been working on Boca Grande for at least two years.
In order to qualify, students from Lemon Bay High School should receive and complete a scholarship packet from Mary Jo Holleran, senior guidance counselor. This packet includes recommendations, high school grades and class rank, extracurricular activities, and a goal statement.
For seniors not from Lemon Bay High School, the Boca Grande Woman's Club has an application that can be obtained by writing to: BGWC, attention Scholarship Chairman, P.O. Box 65, Boca Grande FL 33921.
