Ruth Ann Mae McKelvey Duley, 74, Englewood, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, Jan. 3.
Affectionately known as "Grandma Duley," she was born Aug. 23, 1937, in Wyandotte, Mich. During her teen years, she was member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, emphasizing service to the community. A 1955 graduate of Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte, she attended Eastern Michigan University.
After moving to Englewood in 1975, she worked first at United First Federal, then Barnett Bank, for more than 25 years. As a teen, she enjoyed skiing and fishing, and after she retired, she enjoyed the beach, golfing, and most of all, being with family and friends. She was a member of the Englewood United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her brother, Paul McKelvey Jr, of Venice; daughters, Karen Santora of Englewood and Kathleen Meredith of Orlando; son, Richard Duley of Englewood; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life Service to be held at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 21 at the Englewood United Methodist Church in the Doan Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the High School Scholarship Fund at the Englewood United Methodist Church.
