The Boca Grande Historical Society History Byte series will begin at 11 a.m. Feb. 1 in the Johann Fust Community Library loggia.
It will be the first of nine informative presentations by pioneer families of Boca Grande.
Capt. Robert Johnson will start the season with, "The Johnson Family of Harbor Pilots" dating to 1888. Also, there will be a preview of the eight Bytes to follow.
