Police run down 4th burglary suspect

Charlotte County Sheriff's detectives Thursday night arrested the fourth suspect in the Whidden Industrial Park business burglary case. Wilgens Phillipe, 17, 25264 Palisade Road, Deep Creek, was charged with Cburglary and grand theft.

Police say Phillipe was one of four involved in a burglary Wednesday night at B&M Auto Group, 4127 James Street. A $400 flat screen television was stolen.

Eric Anthony Day, 17, his brother, Darren Christopher Day, 15, both of 5469 2nd Ave., Fort Myers, and Vincent Lamar Williams, 20, 29006 49th St, Lehigh Acres, all face the same charges. Phillipe fled the burglary scene and was arrested the next day.

Phillipe was taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice center in Fort Myers. Both Day brothers remain in the DJJ center. Williams was released after posting $5,000 bond.
