Gail Cleveland's new works will be displayed February at Smart Studio in Boca Grande. Her acrylics feature the tenderness birds display toward each another during courtship.
"I have been studying and painting birds for years, but never had the opportunity to witness the love between them as I have since wintering here in Florida. Cleveland said. "They really do show a wide range of emotions."
White American pelicans, sandpipers, white ibis, and pink flamingos are included in the show.
