The Charlotte County property appraisers remind business and rental property owners the deadline for filing 2012 tangible personal property tax returns is April 2, 2012.
A return must be filed by April 2 to receive the $25,000 exemption.
If a blue postcard has been received, however, filing the return has been waived unless additional assets obtained since 2008 result in a total value exceeding $25,000.
