The Royal Palm Players open Marsha Norman's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, " 'Night, Mother," for a four presentation run starting at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday with a 2 p.m. Sunday showing.
RPP Artistic Director Michele Strauss and Maureen Young of Englewood star in the two-person cast in a play based on the relationship between mother and daughter.
"The daughter wakes up one morning and says 'Mom I'm going to kill myself today," Strauss said. "That pretty much sets it off. It's very moving and beautifully written."
