Please thank everyone who gave blood on Feb. 28. Also, thanks to the Gasparilla Gazette for the good coverage re: the blood drive.
They want to come back February and thought that the venue was good.
Several people commented that it was so convenient and much easier than chasing the Big Red Bus around Englewood.
They registered 36 and collected 29, including two double red cells for a total of 31 units collected.
That equates to 93 lives being saved.
They deferred seven donors on the basis of low iron count or not enough time between their usual giving.
