"We are very, very confident they are responsible for burglaries in these two areas," said Sheriff Bill Cameron. "We believe Straw acted alone in the burglaries and his girlfriend, Tanguay, was the driver. The motive was drugs and committing burglary to steal jewelry and prescription drugs from homes."
Police have also arrested 13 other people on burglary and theft cases in the past two weeks alone.
Tanguay was charged with driving on a suspended license. Straw was charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of grand theft. Both remain in jail on no bond.
