A poetry benefit for the Johann Fust Community Library, coordinated by the Live Poets' Society of Boca Grande, will be held in the library garden from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 4,
Fred Berger, Simonetta Balzer, Jim Grady, Alice Gorman, Dennis Domres, Jack Blum, Dick Robb, Patrick Carey, Pam Miles, Les Nash, LIndsay Major and Alison Bradford, former poet laureate of Delaware, have already agreed to read.
Anyone reading an original poem or from a favorite poet is asked to observe a strict three-minute limit and is admitted free. All others are asked to make a $20 donation to the library.
Sponsors Tim Dumas and Merrill, Lynch will provide wine and hors d'oeuvres. Harpist Bonnie Caplan from Sarasota will play throughout the evening.
