The Boca Grande Art Alliance netted nearly twice as much revenue under first-year Executive Director Pike Powers as it did a year earlier.
The Education and Events report for 2011-12 showed net revenue of $28,450 compared with $14,931 - a 90.5 percent increase of $13,519.
A major reason involved the BGAA special event. The $27,131 brought in by the Home Tour was $11,811 and 77 percent more than the $15,320 raised by last year's Whodunit mystery event.
