The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office will conduct low manpower DUI checkpoints between Thursday and Sunday (May 3-6).
"Our deputies will stop traffic and conduct various test procedures looking for impaired drivers," said Sheriff Bill Cameron.
The Sheriff's Office does not announce date, time, or location of checkpoints in hopes it will deter those who may drink or use drugs and drive.
