The Carroll Swayze Boca Grande Artist Invitational will give festival-goers this weekend an alternative to the dripping-wet excitement of hooking into tarpon.
The Boca Grande Tarpon Festival will be graced with the work of at least 64 artists, with the possible addition of a handful more, Saturday and Sunday, according to organizer Carroll Swayze.
Swayze's Art Fest is the largest of the year on Gasparilla Island.
