To the Editor:
The Island School is a learning facility that provides our kids with a unique learning environment.
We are fortunate to have the ability to send our daughter there and looking forward to sending our younger daughter as well.
I became employed in Boca Grande in 2006 and many people, knowing I had a child, told me I needed to enroll my child at the Island School when she came of school age.
I spoke with various people and all had the same opinion of how great the school is. We had made up our minds back then that our daughter would go to the Island School. We went to the Island School's open house and you could see how comfortable she was.
This year she started kindergarten and loves going to school. The night before, when we get her clothes ready for school, she is telling us of next day or upcoming events she is looking forward to doing.
The staff is wonderful. Yu can feel how warm and caring they are.
My daughter is gaining priceless experiences, for example: museums, school plays, friendship dance and jump rope for heart.
We love the Island School and are thankful for the opportunity for our daughter to attend it.
