The Boca Grande Art Alliance is planning its first Memorial Day Weekend Art Show, featuring paintings, glass and pottery by island artist members at 236 Banyan St.
All are welcome to meet the artists and enjoy beverages and bites at the BGAA Opening Day Reception from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 26.
"Please join us to see the works of our growing number of creative year-rounders," said BGAA Executive Director Pike Powers in a press release.

The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 26, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 27.
On Tuesday, May 29, select pieces will remain in place for the June Summer Days Exhibition, which will run through June 15. The exhibit will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.
