The travel agency named Orlando the top summer vacation destination for 2012 and identified Interstate 95 as one of the top 10 most-traveled highways between Florida and Georgia for summer travel.
Avoid traffic by checking the Florida Department of Transportation's 511 Traveler Information System. The Florida 511 system is updated with information on crashes, congestion and construction on all Florida interstates and toll roads.

Users can register their vacation routes online to hear information on that route first when calling 511.
