Ex-Lee County businessman arrested for pocketing check

A former Lee County business owner is under arrest after allegedly chasing a check on a business fund after it had been sold.

In November 2009, Kean Boyer, 57, sold Southwest Refrigeration and Ice Machines to the victim, who repaired two ice machines at a golf country club, which mistakenly sent a $532.12 payment to the Boyer's old business address.

Boyer allegedly deposited it into his Wells Fargo bank account. Boyer, who now resides in Bartow, Florida, was arrested June 5 and chsrged with grand theft
