The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office will pay special attention to traffic enforcement at these locations through Sunday:
Speeding on Placida Road and Veterans Boulevard.
Traffic lights at State Road 776 and San Casa Boulvard and U.S. 41 and Harbor Boulevard in Port Charlott.
The Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles reports Charlotte County has 12 vehicle deaths so far this year compared with 14 the same time last year. 2011 fatalities numbered 26.
