The Rhum and Get It

Rhum and Get it!
1 parts Rhum JM Agricole
part house made cherry syrup
part orgeat syrup
1 part scratch sour
1 part pineapple juice
Cherry syrup directions:
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
cup dried cherries
Combine ingredients in a sauce pan over low heat and simmer for 45 minutes. Strain and set aside to cool.
Rum is a quintessential island elixir and given a unique twist by adding unexpected ingredients, including homemade cherry syrup.
MIXOLOGY: Mix all ingredients together and shake with ice. Strain into a glass over ice. Garnish with dried cherries and enjoy.
Raspberries & Rhubarb
2 parts light rum
4 fresh raspberries
part fresh pressed lime
part simple syrup
2 dashes rhubarb bitters
1 part soda water
Simple syrup:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
Combine ingredients in a saucepan over low heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Set aside to cool.
MIXOLOGY: Raspberries and rhubarb are an interesting mix of sweet and tart. Muddle raspberries with lime juice and simple syrup. Add rum, rhubarb bitters and ice. Shake to blend and serve in a double rocks glass. Garnish with a rhubarb peel ribbon.
Peach Therapy
3 parts dry white wine
part peach schnapps
Splash of brandy
1/8 part house made crushed red pepper syrup
8 lemon wheels
1 peach, divided into 8 wedges
Crushed red pepper syrup:
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes
Combine ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 30 minutes. Strain and set aside to cool.
MIXOLOGY: When entertaining, it's always nice to have a pitcher of cocktails ready to pour as guests arrive. This combination of sweet and juicy peach flavors is tempered with a little heat from the crushed red pepper syrup that adds a subtle kick. To make a large pitcher, increase the portions and combine all ingredients with ice.
