Realtor Bob Melvin, broker-owner of Gasparilla Properties on Boca Grande, said two areas have generated keen interest in the dog days of summer: North Village and Boca Bay.
"The Kentia townhouse neighborhood has become the next hot spot in Boca Bay," Melvin wrote in his latest real estate report. "With an excellent inventory selection and attractive pricing it just made sense that we should see more sales activity."

157 Blackwall Court, asking $1.195 million, went under contract in July, scheduled to close in September; and
162 Sheepshank Court, asking $1.175 million, sold Aug. 3 for $1.025 million.
