The Board of County Commissioners will conduct an emergency meeting at 2 p.m. Friday in Room 119, Charlotte County Administration Center, 18500 Murdock Circle, Port Charlotte, to consider declaring a state of emergency and discuss of other government meeting cancellations due to possible rainfall and flooding from Hurricane Isaac.
Should any agency or person decide to appeal any decision made by the Board at the meeting, a verbatim record of the proceedings, including testimony and evidence, will be required.
