Jean B. Bennett, 96, of Rotonda West died Aug. 24.
Born Aug. 15, 1916, in Washington, D.C., to C. Morris and Ethel (Brodie) Bennett, she moved to the Englewood area in 1979.
She was a retired registered nurse, member of the Faith Lutheran Church of Rotonda, O.E.S. No. 300 of Englewood, Ladies Oriental Shrine of Sarasota, Rotonda West Womens Club and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees and the Rotonda West American Legion Post No. 113 Auxiliary.

She is survived by her brothers, Hugh Bennett of Englewood and John Bennett of Rochester, N.Y. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Bennett, and her sisters, Helen Donaldson, Alice Atkins and Phyllis Cromarty.
