To the Editor:
Sen. Bill Nelson and his fellow lockstep liberals will celebrated their failures last week in Charlotte, N.C. as the national debt of the United States surpasses $16 trillion.
It is evident Nelson continues to ignore the storm on the horizon that threatens our freedom, our national security and our way of life as our national debt passes $16 trillion.
The Nelson-Obama policies ranging from ObamaCare to stimulus spending to recently raising taxes on small businesses have left us with 42 months of unemployment over 8 percent, a marketplace that cannot plan for the future. Nelson is even suggesting ObamaCare would somehow lower the deficit.
Since Nelson came to Congress in 1979, the debt has increased more than 2,000 percent by rising from $826 billion to $16 trillion today. Nelson supported increasing the debt ceiling 17 times.
Fundamental change is needed in Washington, and for 40 years Nelson has exhibited no fiscal restraint. Enough is enough.
