Charlotte County Sheriff's detectives arrested four boys ages 13 to 16 in connection with felony grand thefts of three ATVs and a go-cart from the South Gulf Cove area.
Jarrett Allen Waters, 16, 13556 Overton Ave., Gulf Cove; William Barry Solomon, 16 and his 13-year-old brother, Jesse Ray Solomon of 2042 Willow Ave., Grove City; and Ashanti D. Brown, 15, of 8307 Ada St., South Gulf Cove.
At 11:32 p.m. Tuesday a Grove City womantold police she saw juvenile boys stealing a Honda Foreman S ATV from her neighbor's yard at 2025 Essense Ave. CCSO. Road deputies and a K9 unit responded and followed one track to the Solomon's brother's home.

The K9 then picked up another track into a wooded area where two boys surrendered. Deputies reportedly found one of the stolen Yamaha 4x4 ATV with the engine still warm. The area is known as the "sand dunes" where small recreational-type vehicles are ridden.
Two Yamaha Grizzly 4x4 ATV's, were reported stolen Sunday from 14148 Kewanee Lane in South Gulf Cove. Also, a Go-Cart with roll bar was reported stolen from 8106 Wiltshire Drive in South Gulf Cove; the Go-Cart was located Tuesday in the "sand dunes" where police say it had been stripped of the roll bars.
Waters and the Solomon brothers were arrested at 6 a.m. Thursday; and Brown was arrested at 8:30 a.m. at Lemon Bay High School.
Brown was charged with two counts of felony grand theft, two counts vehicle theft and criminal trespass. William Solomon was charged with two counts felony grand theft, one count vehicle theft and criminal trespass. Waters and Jesse Solomon were charged with one count each felony grand theft.
The boys were released to their parents after being booked into the Charlotte County Jail. Detectives are continuing their investigation as not all ATV's have been recovered. If anyone has information about these thefts, call the CCSO at (941) 639-2101, or Crime Stoppers at 800-780-TIPS (8477).
