Naturalists Al Squires and Denny Girard of the Native Plant Society will lead the monthly meeting at Lemon Bay Park, 570 Bay Park Blvd., Englewood, at 7 p.m. Oct. 9 by discussing native asters and grape vines. Squires and Girard lead nature tours for Sarasota County and Cedar Point Park. Light refreshments provided. Everyone welcome.
