A breezy, sunny Saturday afternoon at the Boca Grande Community Center welcomed super heroes, ghouls, goblin, princesses, tigers, pirates and more to the Halloween Carnival.
The two-hour Bocaween carnival was highlighted by a costume contest for age groups 3-under, 4-5, 6-8 and 9-12. Awards and ribbons were given to every child.
Elsewhere, participants had fun at homemade carnival games, repeatedly soaking Sgt. Jeff Corkhill in the dunk tank, taking a chance in the cakewalk or enjoying carnival treats.
