Lee County sheriff's detectives are searching for those responsible for breaking into the President Barack Obama campaign headquarters in Fort Myers.
Deputies were called to 8750 (Unit 12) Gladiolus Drive at approximately 7:25 a.m. Monday. An employee told police he arrived at 7:15 a.m. to find the glass front door smashed. No computers were stolen. only missing item was a manila envelope containing cash.
Surveillance cameras captured images of a young white male with dark hair, wearing shorts and sandals and carrying a back pack as he walks near the headquarters. Police say he is a person of interest.
