We would love to hear your story.
In celebration of Civil War Reflections, the weeklong program to be offered by the Friends of Boca Grande in April 2013, we are planning to print a collection of personal remembrances of the Civil War.
Submissions to this Boca Grande Memoir may be as short as one sentence or as long as it takes to tell your personal history-one that has endured for 150 years through the generations.
You do not have to be a writer to tell your story. Just contact Barbara Edgerton or Sandy Jacobs to arrange an interview by phone or in person.
Of course, we would also love to receive stories by mail or e-mail. They can be written informally and loosely - we will compose your memories and contact you for your approval before we include your article in publication.
We welcome your participation and consider every story to be unique, interesting and important. Please be sure to include your name, address, phone number and e-mail address.
