Executive Director Pike Powers is off to a strong start in her second season leading the Boca Grande Art Alliance.
Powers immediately improved the Boca Grande Art Alliance financial underpinnings when it netted nearly twice as much 2011-12 revenue in her first year as it did a year earlier.
The Education and Events report showed net revenue of $28,450 compared with $14,931 - a 90.5 percent increase of $13,519.
A major reason involved the BGAA Home Tour, which brought in $27,131 or $11,811 and 77 percent more than the $15,320 raised by the 201-11 Whodunit mystery event.
