Over the past three years many enhancements have been made to the clinic. New services, new technology and the remodeling of the facility have been major initiatives.
This is now all behind us and I am pleased to report that we do not anticipate significant further changes as we look forward to a period of stability.
Thanks to the generosity of many people we are proudly providing state-of-the-art medical care to the people of Boca Grande. Our superb medical staff is provided with the tools to make your visits to the clinic convenient and satisfying. They now have a phlebotomy lab, X-Ray technology, digital vital sign machines, and new, improved EKG equipment - all provided by our generous donors.
I encourage all of the people of Boca Grande to take advantage of what we have to offer only minutes from your island residence. We welcome the opportunity to coordinate with your established doctors to ensure your ongoing good health.
Now in our third season of using digital medical records, our doctors are adept at taking advantage of the capabilities of this new technology. It makes commuicating with your other doctors easy.
It is not necessary to be sick to benefit from going to the clinic. Our doctors welcome patients who come for wellness exams. Often issues that are not yet serious are identified during these visits. It also establishes you as a patient of the clinic with all your current information on file. This expedites getting refills on medications as well as allowing you the convenience of using the patient portal any time day or night.
On behalf of the board and the staff of the clinic, I greatly thank those Boca Grande commuity members who, through their wonderful support of the Boca Grande Health Clinic Foundation, make this most vital community asset possible.
