Contractors pulled 44 November permits to build single-family houses collectively valued at more than $7.4 million in unincorporated Lee County compared with 42 October permits and 34 issued in November 2011, according to the Lee County Department of Community Development.
During November, 20 multi-family units were permitted compared with 12 in October and four in November 2011.
General commercial activity was valued at more than $3.7 million compared with $1.3 million in October and nearly $1.8 million in November 2011.
During November, Lee County Community Development issued 2,516 permits of all kinds.
