The Lee County Sheriff's Office reports it has no leads and no fingerprints in a reported felony grand theft of sterling silverware from a Boca Grande home.
Clair Carlson, 84, told Deputy First Flass Angelo Lanni Dec. 17 that a $2,000 silverware collection spanning 60 years and two generations had been taken from her home at 4055 Shore Lane some time between February and Dec. 14. She was unable to narrow the timeframe as she lives in two residences.
The silverware was mainly a royal Danish pattern. The investigation is ongoing.
