Charlotte County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested three people New Year's Eve.
Police say they seized 42.3 grams of methamphetamine seized, $790 in cash and 1.7 grams of meth powder in the shoe of a 1-year old baby girl in the back seat of the SUV.
Manuel Angel Rolon, 41, 321 Fortuna Road, Arcadia; Dodie Allyson Albritton, 20, 9153 SW Racoon Trail, Arcadia; and Bret Alexander Rule, 29, 30590 Betts Road, Myakka City, were arrested.

At 9:26 p.m. a deputy observed a silver Mercedes SUV on Veterans Boulevard drifting over the center line and sideswiping a curb several times. At a traffic stop on Torrington Street. Rolon, the driver told deputies his license was suspended three times. A check of the SUV tag showed it registered to a white Chevrolet.
As Rolon exited the SUV deputies reported they discovered a clear plastic baggy with white powder and $790 in his shorts pocket.
When Albritton stepped out of the SUV, deputies reportedly observed a plastic baggy sticking out of the top of her bra.
Rule was in the back seat and deputies observed him moving around and hiding a plastic baggy under his right thigh next to the child in a baby seat. An inventory of the SUV revealed 1.7 grams of loose powdered methamphetamine inside one of the infant's shoes in her mother Albritton's purse within reach of the infant. Albritton had 39.4 grams of meth; Rolon had two grams meth; and Rule was in possession of .9 grams of meth. The cash was seized for forfeiture.
Rolon and Albritton were charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, child neglect and possession of drug paraphernalia. Rolon was also charged with driving on a suspended license.
Rule was charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Rolon was jailed on $202,500 bond, Albritton on $72,500 bond, and Rule on $6,500 bond.
The infant's father from Arcadia took custody of the child. CCSO contacted the Department of Children and Families to investigate.
