Pirate Coast Paddle Sports, a new company started by Andrew Amen and Dave Arner, editor of Pirate Coast Magazine, now provides paddleboard and kayak rentals and sales on Gasparilla Island.
They deliver to beachfront and bayou launch locations. Rentals are available for up to an entire weeklong stay. Introductory classes and instructions are available.
"Andrew and I started this to provide new ways to see the most beautiful and scenic parts of Boca Grande," Arner said. "There is so much more to experience when viewed from the water. Join us for some eco-friendly pirating and you'll have memories that last a lifetime."
