Fresh Produce, a national clothing retailer known for imaginative prints, vibrant and colorful basics, and stylish and relaxed silhouettes, is a Boca Grande retail stalwart.
This winter the operative Fresh Produce word is emerald on Gasparilla isle.
"The color of the year, emerald, is vibrant yet classic which makes it a great addition to any wardrobe," said Catherine Zagari, Boca Grande store manager.
Emerald dress goes well with a Boca Grande tan.
After Pantone named emerald the 2013 color of the year, Fresh Produce decided to infuse the color into Gasparilla Island wardrobes.
"Color has wonderful transformative properties that uplift, motivate, relax and inspire," according to a Fresh Produce release.
Some comfy and easy ways to add emerald hues to your wardrobe.
Boca Dress: This $54 dress is a staple that works throughout the year. In the winter pair it with tights, comfortable boots and a sweater for a practical, stylish ensemble.
Standing Ovation cardigan: A bright and colorful cardigan ($74) easily accents a dress or T-shirt. Pair it with simple jewelry for a classic look.
Baja top: Worn loose or with a complementary scarf or belt, the $59 Anyday Top can go from desk to dinner. It's a great way to pair the year's hottest color with comfortable, everyday style.
Stretch broadcloth safari roll-up pant: Liven up a wardrobe by replacing jeans, slacks or khakis with a fun splash of color from these $74 pants. Pair emerald-hued pants with a breezy white top or another bright shade.
Use great accessories such as scarves and jewelry to add a pop of color to every outfit. Scarves are easy to wear and versatile making them a must-have accessory.
Jewelry such as the Adventure Stone pendant necklace ($19), stone bead necklace ($34) or drop earrings ($22) are simple, classic pieces to pair with any emerald outfit from weekend to evening wear.
Many Fresh Produce styles come in a variety of emerald hues, in addition to colors across the entire spectrum.
